Recommendations! The Seafood Restaurant (Rick Stein’s in Padstow) Rick Stein’s Fish & Chips at the harbour, Creelys – we had a great day out..

Treyarnon Bay – if you go early you can park for free at Constantine Bay & walk to Treyarnon along the coastal path. Watergate (near Newquay) is good for surfing. Port Isaac – very picturesque. We wouldn’t recommend the Farmers Arms in St Merryn. The menu is very basic & it’s not family friendly. Note: the closest beach seems to be about 3 miles away not 1.5 as advertised.

The cottage was very well equipped * comfortable – especially the sofas. The squeak on the small bedroom door needs attention & the pillows could do with being replaced. The blind in the main bedroom is mouldy. (squeaky door oiled & pillows replaced)   Rowen family – including baby Billy & Todd & Alfie dogs, Somerset / Dorset 28 June 2014

Porth – (12-14 June) We spent a week in St Ives and decided to spend a few days in Padstow and booked last minute; what a hidden gem!

The location is perfect for visiting the various beaches, we went to two – Harlyn Bay & Treyarnon and also close to Padstow. The bungalow was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. Pete & Rob were very helpful & friendly. Overall a fantastic stay, wish we could stay longer & will definitely return! Michelle, Sandra & Eliza, Nottingham
