Treyarnon Bay – if you go early you can park for free at Constantine Bay & walk to Treyarnon along the coastal path. Watergate (near Newquay) is good for surfing. Port Isaac – very picturesque. We wouldn’t recommend the Farmers Arms in St Merryn. The menu is very basic & it’s not family friendly. Note: the closest beach seems to be about 3 miles away not 1.5 as advertised.
The cottage was very well equipped * comfortable – especially the sofas. The squeak on the small bedroom door needs attention & the pillows could do with being replaced.
